While the ending unfortunately meanders and is too ambitious in wrapping up the story, Profile is a thrilling and scarily realistic depiction of Isis recruitment, how the best of us can often fall prey to it without even realizing and the overlooked treatment of 3rd world countries. I do prefer Searching over this, given that it expands upon the social media and technology aspects more often. But overall, I think this movie is such a powerful and well-made look into the dangers of negotiating with terrorists, that we often don't see enough of. One of the best films of the year so far. 4/4

Interesting way of storytelling. Captured my attention and drew me in like the character was drawn.

This was an excellent, suspenseful film
