Amazing story! Truly captivating

This was a terrific movie!!! Few movies based on true stories are any better. I rooted for the characters throughout the film. There were scary moments toward the beginning, but after that it became a story of "Esperanza" of hope. There were funny moments here and there, but overall it was a moving drama. Spontaneous applause broke out in the theater at the end. When did that last happen?
