Heartwarming story for immigrants and people of color in any country just trying to make it and pursue their dreams - love it and so relatable! It’s a movie that America needs right now.

Excellent film. Creative & emotional. Love this coming of age story with issues of race, family, culture, & friendships. Loved that it was inspired by a true story about real people. Loved that it was a period piece taking us back to the 80s. Liked all of the characters. Great director. Wonderful heart warming story.

This movie sends messages to parents not to force their kids to be like them, let the kids make their own decision to follow their dreams and careers.
