I was not aware of the story but it was a well written movie. I thought it was pretty good. It seemed like they needed to give a little more about what the father was doing while on drugs. It also seemed odd that the brother and sister of Paul had almost no role or voice. We saw a little into the family but those core people should have had a little more information into the full story.

just too long, thin threadline

Excellent acting especially Plummer and Williams in this tale of how money does not beget happiness.Well directed with stunning settings. A very well done thriller.However, some of the license taken with facts bothered me at the conclusion of the movie.
