It was okay. Some really beautiful scenery but overall it was so slow. If I wasn't familiar with the story I might have lost interest.

The overall review of the film will depend on how complex or simple the viewer likes their stories to be told. It is a slow burn film with not so much action but visually it looks excellent. The plot has some political and cultural themes with a somewhat boring main character. The entire cast is very stacked, with lack of screen time for some.

The film was boring and seemed to rely heavily on the previous iteration and took its time building out nuances of the DUNE world without establishing key fundamentals to draw in the general audience. Slightly too long as well. It's understandable that WB is looking for its next Potter franchise, but this approach doesn't stack up. WB should fix the DC movies by not messing with creative vision.
