Trite. Entirely predictable. And the Line girl was totally obnoxious.

Very poor beginning (if I had not known what it was about, I would have never made it past the first ten minutes). Young girls death and aftermath handled very well. Volleyball game scenes too long and tedious -- no sense of excitement or tension. The thing that made the whole movie worthwhile was seeing the archive films at the end and realizing how true the movie was to what really occurred.

While this movie had a sweet message and storyline, it was technically weak. The editing and cinematography was nothing exciting and sometimes mediocre, along with the acting and writing. The strong points were definitely the pacing, music/score, and location. Overall, an inspiring sports movie with little uniqueness.

even though it was probably movie's intent, it did not feel inspirational. Felt very much like back in the old days when things were plain and normal - did not feel the hope of achieving title or thrill of victory
