The acting for some of them was a struggle but it was a pretty good movie, although I'm not a fan of Sci-fi movies. The effects in he movie was awesome though!!

Real escape from everyday in to a world like no other. Many of the different beings in the city make look familiar, which adds to the fun. Ok, spend the whole film trying to figure who is the real hero. Answer is they are a team. CG are 1st class. Story is good and has enough detail to satisfy just about any graphic story fan. Worth a GO. so Go see it.

I was really disappointed. The special effects, CGI, etc is amazing and they have created a beautiful movie. The main characters and dialogue, however, were just awful. I was confused by their relationship because there was no character development whatsoever. Valerian's voice sounds like Keanu Reeves and that made me wish it was ACTUALLY Keanu, might have been more believable. This movie left me with more questions than answers. I'm just bummed that this gorgeous film was ruined by poor script development and actors.

Absolutely beautiful. Mess of a lot of really great and cool ideas, however disjointed with bad dialogue and a nonsensical resolution. Worth it for the visuals alone.
