If you're a fan of Dame Dench it's a lovely movie. Good slice of the inside life of the Victorian British royal household, beautifully shot and focussing on the relationship between Victoria and Abdul. While there's plenty of depth to Victoria - her loneliness, decaying body, boredom with endless jubilee functions, there's a flatness to Abdul, who's diaries the movie is based on. Pity.
