Great story and cast! Being a born around the time of the Mercury 7 and civil rights marches, I was too young to remember seeing how bad it was back then. Those women are definitely American heroes with respect to both NASA and civil rights, persevering under tight schedules and discrimination. Very inspiring and educational.

Hollywood! You've done it this time! What a WONDERFUL film depicting a pivotal time in American history. This touched on the outer and inner workings of the lives of Americans in the 1960's. Many childhood memories for me! The film grasped moments of humor, diversity, tenderness, justice, wonder, and awe. BRAVO!!! and BRAVA!!

This movie is a WINNER: great story, great acting & had the right amount of seriousness & humor. I felt good & inspired when I left the theater. Living thru the NASA years as a child I knew the main story of our competition with Russia; but this movie tells the unknown story of the courageous women that stood up & spoke out in a time where civil rights weren't equal. BRAVO!! (& I'm a white guy)

This was a great film. I had planned on seeing the film when it was released, and it exceeded my expectations!
