I thought it was decent but, would have been a great thriller or action movie.

This movie was a little different than what I thought it was going to be about based on the trailer. Once it dived from what I thought it might be about it turned into a standard fair predictable movie with a ludicrous save the day sort of treatment. The start of the movie was funny and a little entertaining but an action film it really isn't I saw this movie as part of an advance screening - which I was appriciative of, the movie was a little bit of a let down due to lack of action

It was interesting, kept me focused with a suprised happy ending. Thought it would end happily differently. Worth seeing for yourself.

Entertaining but predictable. More of a love story than a sci-fi flic, but still many nice cg space shots. Chris Pratt plays his usual comic self but showed a dramatic side also. Jennifer Lawrence gave a believable but admittedly generic performance. Michael Sheen was brilliant in his supporting role. I would have liked a more elaborate epilogue but I imagine the writers deliberately left the end somewhat short so that the audience could imagine on their own how things played out. Worth seeing.
