A little bit too much musical.

Great actor choices. Shows deep character thought and character building scenes were solid. Could have ended better.

Another fantastic character study film. Beautifully shot and superbly acted. A worthy entry into the Todd Philips Joker franchise. The “musical” aspect was a unique storytelling device which complimented the tragic arc of Arthur Fleck. Like the first entry, repeat viewing only further adds to the viewing experience necessary to capture the all subtle nuances included in many of the scenes. Adding dynamic layers to the already rich story.

Cinematograph feels great sound was great. Lady Gaga was used to her full potential and Joaquin Phoenix is portrayal of Joker is different yet interesting
