The synopsis did not do this movie justice. What I thought the movie was about going in was Kim Baker being tired of her every day life and needing some excitement so she goes to a war torn country to get that thrill. Turns out the movie was better than expected. There were funny parts but for most of it, it was an eye opener of how different our culture in North America is compared to Iraq.

Not your typical Tina Fey - although there was a little humour we seen a different side of her that was vunerable and powerful - an very interesting story.

Not bad! The movie was more than just a comedy, it had meaning. It showed the character's struggle to adapt to her new work environment while juggling her relationship back in NY. It displays what a career-minded individual has to strive for on a daily basis, despite his/her own circumstances.

A few chuckles at times but the film moved too quickly in the beginning. Didn't feel for character. It seemed to drag towards the middle of the film.
