Thoroughly enjoyed it. I appreciated the fact that this was a view of a global disaster not at the 30,000-foot level, but at street level, following one family trying to make it. No one was trying to save the world; they were just trying to stay alive. I could easily watch a movie spinning off on another character's storyline - any of them would have been interesting, since the movie featured humans, not heroes, and saw how different people were making it through the disaster. I would see this in a movie theater (if it came out after it was safe to go back to the theater), and I would bring friends with me. And before anyone says it - YES, there were wildly improbable things that moved the story along (Convenient FEMA Camp, forexample), but it's a movie - so I went with it.
