It was a little more supernatural than I expected. I would have liked if it was a little more realistic. Every scene had something supernatural it seemed which with steven king I think of events that could really happen tied in with supernatural. It was more scifi than horror. Storyline didnt do enough to cover the title. I wish I had read the book to see if more plot existed to support the title

I thought it was well acted and suspenseful. Nice Easter Eggs for fans of The Shining throughout the movie.

Although I never saw The Shining in its entirety, I didn't feel confused. I thought it was a great movie. Nice to have a different story line. I don't like horror films and was grateful it was just suspenseful. I really enjoyed the movie.
