I enjoyed watching the history that was portrayed in the movie. Though the movie did hold my interest throughout. It's not a movie that I would pay to go to.

Overall I would say that it was a fine film. The story was interesting. I never realized the plight of the Armenians in this period of history. I felt as though some of the character development was a little lacking. Several moments should have been "tear-jerkers" but were not. (For me, anyway) The performances were excellent, especially Oscar Isaac. The visuals were stunning.

I would give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Historically, it's a really important story to share as we're seeing the exact same types of events happening in the middle east right now and no one really seems to care about the Christians that live there that are being persecuted.
