We liked it even though it wasn't as grandiose as the first Ben-Hur movie. I like to add that we are two oldies.... That may explain it.

Well, overall it was ok. I know this isn't considered a remake but it is when you use the core components and name. Left out were key components and a happy ending added and for me, it just wasn't the same. I'm glad I saw it but the 1959 version had more bite to it than this one.

Great movie great action good story

Really really enjoyed the movie! Both lead actors were very good and Mr. Morgan Freeman rocked the dreadlocks! The film's message was executed very well. And of course the chariot race was AMAZING!!!! I would have given the movie 5 stars but I found that it really did not need to be in 3D.
