This was a great movie. I was torn between the decisions Ruby had to make. I don't think a child should be put in that situation. My favorite part was when she signed as she sang for her audition. There was so much love felt during that part. I would definitely encourage others to watch it.

It was a wonderful, enlightening film to depict the life of as family with deaf members.

Just the most beautiful movie I've seen in a long time. To be brought up in a deaf family. See see what a deaf family has to go through and to see what a girl who can hear in a deaf family has to endure as well. Was just eye opening and beautiful, hard, wonderful, hard, rewarding, hard. I loved it, I cried happy tears and sad tears. I just was completely moved and this movie is worthy of awards!\r

This was a well done family story. Reminded me of' 'Flashdance'. for singers. Lots of sub plots and interesting issues with people with hearing issues trying to live normal life.
