Draggy, sags in the middle. The early part and the wrap up are good but the pace in the middle feels very slow. A lot of introductions, would’ve liked more interactions with the students who were taking part in the tumultuous civil rights movements, seemed that momentous movement was barely mentioned. Seemed like a very insular world, which I know firsthand in the early 60s was central to the social changes. 1958 seemed a completely different ear from 1963.

The script was so incredibly poorly written, and RBG's character did not feel fully developed whatsoever. The portrayal of the women's rights movement seemed forced and copied-and-pasted from a protest speech. Do better, if not for RBG's sake.
