This movie was surprisingly good! I really didn't know what to expect. But I am glad I was able to screen it. Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones did a great job telling the real life story of Jerry and Willie. I will say that It's always great to see the little guy come out on top. I would definitely recommend this movie to my family and friends.

I loved it, as did my friends. The acting was great. The dips in and out of racial tension were great. Showing the general population how poor, and particularly black, people can be, and are, exploited and it’s generally seen as successful business practice. Showing how difficult it is to maintain community led practices over time. Showing what it’s like to be in a judicial system that was all black instead of all white. They both may follow the letter of the law, but it showed how culture could influence decisions.

Very good movie. Great acting. Kept me engaged.

Funny, invigorating, satisfying
