The acting and the look of the movie was excellent. But the movie is way to cerebral for the average person who goes to movies. Telling personal stories through sci-fi is ok but this one was not entertaining in the sci-fit sense of the word. I got bored and wanted to leave.

A thinking persons alien invasion movie, not built around special effects but rather emotion, communication and curiosity. I especially liked the efforts to make the planetary responses to the invaders, both scientific and military, as realistic and non flashy as possible. A literate and intelligent film, that is tense and well acted as well.

The concept and idea are interesting. The film was dragging, confusing and at times difficult to follow. The special effects and tech stuff were excellent, but the music was to loud. The approach to language is very interesting. I enjoy sc-fi films, but this one wasn't the best. Would rate it 2.5, and an interesting movie night out.
