This was a fairly strong horror movie, great visuals, editing, sound and performances. The set up was rocky though, Money was terrible, dialogue and background development cliched. Levy's character didn't command sympathy for her actions. She was self serving, manipulative and not very bright. Minnette's character is very well liked and his fate undeserved. Levy doesn't even clear his name, furthering our dislike of her. It's Panic Room meets People Under the Stairs meets House of Wax (2005).

"Don't Breathe" was a very entertaining film. Lots of suspense and there was a surprise at every corner. The movie also has ethical/moral implications. I found myself rooting for the protagonists AND the "villain." The film doesn't drag and I had overall a wonderful time.

The beginning of the movie was rough. Character development was weak and it is still a little confusing how they got themselves in the situation they did. How did they know the guy was blind? Also, did no one know about the missing girl locked up in the blind Guy's basement?! Once the action started the movie got a lot better. The acting was great and I was engaged the rest of the movie.

Didn't take too long to start. I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, thrilling all the way through. I would definitely recommend this movie. It was better than I expected.
