Amazing film about relationships between an Uncle and a Niece and a Southern Family. Very well written, well directed, and well acted. I want to see it again.

Amazing cinema, well written, directed and beautifully filmed and acted.

Interesting, complex depiction of southern families and gender issues in the 1970s. The casting was perfect. The actors performances were realistic. A little smaltzy at the end but overall, a very good film.

Each cast member played their parts beautifully. What a moving story!
