talks way too much! I fell asleep throughout the movie. I guess i’m more of into action or thriller movies.

While the film wasn’t particularly bad, it suffered from being released after the documentary, RBG, which did a much better job of showcasing the life and struggles of Ruth Ginsberg. Outside of one or two strong monologues, On the Basis of Sex failed to leap off of the screen as exciting. It’s message, while relevant, lost its bite over the course of its runtime due to a poorly paced screenplay. It just made me want to go watch RBG again.
