Good movie. Very visually interesting. It's basically a love story, a love story between a human and an aquatic creature, but a love story none the less.

This is classic Guillermo del Toro, simple, funny, interesting and sometimes a little weird. The story is fascinating and well put together; pacing is a bit of an issue and some repeating bits do not anywhere. Great overal
