A sweet and amusing historic account

This movie definitely kept my interest throughout since I never heard of this unique relationship. However, I have to wonder how much of it is true and how much is fictitious. I intend to do some research on this subject. On the other hand, Judi Dench is always a pleasure to watch on the screen and the scenery and costumes were wonderful.

I think it was mostly fiction but still interesting. Great performances.

It is a wonderful movie for the whole family Judi Dench as Queen Victoria, and the actor that do Abdul are outstanding
