Writing dreadfully overdone. Acting overdone. Use of Teyana Taylor as an insatiable sex doll for the first 20 minutes of the film was repulsive. Only people who acted like they’ve been here before were Regina Hall and Benecio Del Toro. Oscar bait of the highest magnitude with none of the reward.

PTA’s worst

It was very long and convoluted. I am very far left-leaning but even for me it seemed bizarre like some movie that could inspire radical inspiration. I still don’t even understand the point of it: that we are all humans? That racism exists? That there are secret societies of racism that people covet and want to be in? It was action packed and some parts of the movie were very intense, but I still don’t understand what the point of the movie was. If someone from WB wants to reach out to me to try to explain a deeper meaning, I’m all ears.
