Excellent

This movie was a beautiful period piece. It was also shot and edited in such a way to feel as if it was from that time. To modern viewers it may seem long or drawn out but I appreciated the feel it gave the film, as if we were back in the 50's and 60's.

A great story line.

This movie was powerful in the context of relationships. I thought it interesting that her husband revealed he wanted to be the 'man of her dreams' and wanted a space in her heart. That blew me away as from his interactions with her, you don't get that impression. I also thought it interesting that although Robert went away with the band, I wondered if he might've fought harder to place his dreams on hold to be with the one he truly loved. Side note - I thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack!!!!!
