I liked how they intertwined pieces of the Shining with this movie.

I loved the tie ins to The Shining. Even though there were some changes from the book, duh!, I enjoyed the changes and was satisfied with the result.

I thought the film cleverly weaved many of Stephen King's works extremely well. The characters had depth and you really felt their experiences as the story progressed. The climax of returning to where it all started was truly masterfully done!

excellent sequel that can stand on its own. But you do have to pay attention. Excellent acting by the young lady playing Abra. You will see why.
