There were too many time jumps. The film suffered from an identity crisis, i.e. was it supposed to be a sports film, a love story etc...

I thought that the cinematography was crummy and it felt like a 12 year old boy filmed it on an iPhone. Zendaya was fantastic with acting, but the character lacked development except for the actions being thrust upon her. The ending left too many questions without a clear narrative moving forward.

I feel like the movie had potential to be great. However, it was very confusing and all over the place. The story line seemed flawed as it seemed the movie was about how Zendaya’s character only truly lived herself and Tennis. It was apparent she’d do anything to have her husband win even if it meant screwing over his former friend and her ex boyfriend. The ending was also confusing as it didn’t bring anything home. I truly had high hopes for this movie but felt it was a big let down.

The movie was produced well but the plot, ending, and thus overall movie was not enjoyable and I will not recommend anyone to watch.
