It was a good movie for a documentary. I had no idea those men were down there in the mine that long. It was an entertaining movie.

I am deaf, did not hear anything due to no Closed Captions while using the CC glasses. I had to rely on lipreading the actors. I mostly enjoyed the special effects of the cave in and the boiling tension between the miners, I would say best acting was done between Gabriel Byrne and James Brolin. The best part was the cameo of Don Francisco which enlightened the movie audience

The movie was better than I expected and held my interest. I wish more time had been given to the juxtaposition of the beautiful environment on the surface and the place where the miners were trapped

Even though we knew the outcome of the story, the depiction of events was emotionally gripping. There were no super heroes; only flawed men caught in a terrible circumstance. We were able to see them all at the end of the movie.
