Lots of action, good drama and historical details on point. It was great being able to see the persons portrayed, listed and shown at the end of the movie.

We really enjoyed how the movie showed the strategy behind Midway battle, and how so many people, plus luck, contributed to a hard-won victory. We really cared about the characters and thought they dispatched stereotypes nicely in a couple of spots.

Well done. Never saw the original. They told the story well.
