Slow but interesting

I thought it was really slow moving. I also thought it stayed very uneventful the whole movie. The acting was very good but the way the story was told was not.

I personally remember the kidnapping of the Getty grandson. Although, I did not know of the the people that were involved. This movie was based loosely on fact and I enjoyed watching it. The people around me also were quiet and watched the movie. I also thought that Christopher Plummer was a better choice of Getty and the cast of characters did a fine job. I enjoyed the movie , even the bloody ear scene.

Good direction, pacing & acting, but the flashbacks used in beginning of the film was a little hard to keep track off. I missed the year in which the kidnapping took place so when new scenes had the year on it, I didn't know if it was during the present timeline of the film or a flashback. That just took me out of the film.
