I hated the format, and there were too many unnecessary distractions. I couldn't watch the whole movie.

As a researcher who studies extremists and terrorists groups online I found Profile a bit hard to swallow. Although, there were a number of accurate depictions on how individuals are enticed and even partly radicalized online, the movie over dramatized these, along with other aspects in the film. Also, there is no way an investigative journalists would go into a story like this without some background knowledge on the group (in this cases ISIS) and personal safety measures when speaking with known terrorists. The title of this movie should be "What not to do as an Investigative Journalist."
