I like the illustration of Chinese culture and the conflict that many Chinese-Americans have in trying to respect heritage while living in their new culture. Great job!

Made me proud I’m from the hood too. \rBut subtitles went too fast.

I appreciated the authentic representation of Chinese culture. The movie did a good job depicting a Chinese American character trying to navigate achieving their dreams while remaining true to one's cultural identity. The stereotypes were hard to see, but unfortunately, that's the reality of society. There were a few parts where the translation was off when the characters spoke Mandarin, but most audience members wouldn't know that if they didn't speak Mandarin.

Good, especially if you're a bb fan. Ending was quite abrupt though. Good for young people working towards a future - in that they need to work hard.
