Amazing performances, feels very much like a play but in a good way (obviously because it was adapted from one). Grounded in the reality of the time enough for me to think this really might've all happened!

I found it to be a great snapshot of 4 of the most famous black figures at the height of the civil rights movement grappling with their individual responsibilities. Their conversations were thought provoking and are as relevant now as they were then. I'll see it again when it's released.

Regina King’s ONE NIGHT IN MIAMI is a stylish, thought provoking film that looks at examines the responsibility of successful black men in the Civil Rights Movement. Kingsley Ben-Adir gives an awards worthy performance as Malcolm X, Leslie Odom Jr. gives a strong performance as Sam Cooke, and Eli Goree is sure to break out after his showing as Cassius Clay.
