I thought it was good.

The story line isn't necessarily my cup of tea and I had a hard time relating to any of the characters (other than their desire to protect the children they had). But, I thought it was a well directed crime thriller and the acting was generally top rate.

It is a gritty drama about a woman all alone with only her child for company when her dangerous husband does a bad thing. She is being chased by bad guys looking for information on her husband. She is on the run and constantly in danger. It was thrilling and full of suspense.

I liked the characters I was supposed to like. I thought the seventies decor, clothing, and autos were perfect. The dialogue was realistic too along with the episodic shifts. Actors fun to watch, including the secondary characters like the neighbor, the thugs. Movie did a great job of capturing love and suspense. Thought the end was a little too tidy - with the wise, older man dying/sacrificing himself for the children. Still, I enjoyed it and watched it in one viewing.
