It was ok. Predictable.

Slow start, but overall, it had a good plot and decent character development. It was an easy watch w/ action and humor. Not too crazy about some hitting/smacking aliens, which seemed mean-spirited; we don't need more meanness in the world. It's a perfect summer, escape movie when you just want to relax and enjoy something.

The chemistry between Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Kumal Nanjiani very enjoyable, decent humor/ messages of being responsible, enjoying the journey of life. Emma Thompson also great. But like many summer movies nowadays, film suffers from exposition/ weak script. Most characters could’ve benefited from more development, mainly villain- very predictable/ easy to spot. Needed more action scenes, had very few, slightly better towards 3rd act, okay start to new franchise. Grade (3.5/5) @JedElias
