I felt the movie started out a little slow, and there were some plot holes or things I didn't quite catch/understand. For example, why was he in trouble with Internal Affairs? I felt like that could have been made a little more clear. I wasn't sure if he had turned a cop in for doing something wrong, and that's why he was getting heat from other cops, or if it was something else. The cops also kept talking about how he was known for killing bad guys, but what they were implying about him didn't quite fit in with the other information that was given about him throughout the movie. Beyond that, the movie was definitely engrossing, the actors were fantastic, and it definitely got more intense as the movie progressed. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely see it again. Chadwick Boseman is such a phenomenal actor, and he did not disappoint.
