Sad movie to bad they were in there for so long.

Interesting story, well cast. Epilogue of actual miners was interesting touch. The writers missed an opportunity to get into the heads of people in a stressful, unique situation.

I liked this movie a lot. It was very interesting to see how the miners work and the risks they take evereyday. Juliette Binoche is amazing in this cast. I recommend it.

Overall, a good, feel-good movie. Good intensity. A bit slow in spots. Lacking some editing. 10 to 15 second blackout after mine collapse was ineffective. People in theater wondered if the film had stopped/broken. Bandaras was good in his role.
