It's excellent, but I really really REALLY need Part Two!

Strong use of light and sound. Solid interpretation of the original book.\rPart 1, but worth the watch.

Great world building, technically amazing, didn’t feel that emotionally attached

Storyline is difficult to follow for anyone who had not previously read the book. It's a difficult task to condense such an expansive story down to a two part movie. This is a much better version than the previous attempt, but still ends up with confusing or missing pieces of the plot. My spouse, who had never read the book, was left wondering about much of what he had just watched.
