It was a look back into history and how things used to be. It is worth seeing but some of the actors overplayed the part in an attempt to mirror the stereotype of the opponents of integration while portraying the proponents (except for (Ann Adkins) as calm and always positive.

The acting was excellent and the story really came to life. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love this story. I got a little emotional towards the end and to see and hear what these two friends did after the school decision is inspiring on a human level.

I really liked it. Some parts were a little cheesy but it was extremely well acted and well shot. I loved the outfits and the soundtrack. An important movie for this time period.
