Two great performances in Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace- and Rocky, who really comes to life in an endearing fashion through a combination of puppetry, animatronics, and animation! The two share excellent chemistry throughout the film, and the film is spectacular at making you fall in love with their bond/friendship. On top of that, the movie has some breathtaking, larger-than-life visuals- a stellar combination of practical and digital effects and gorgeous cinematography- and the score is both whimsical and sweeping! This was my most anticipated movie of this year, and it more than delivered!

It was an amazing movie. It had the perfect balance between funny moments and emotional ones. The acting is superb, and the story is really impactful. The imagery is also beautiful. I would recommend everyone to watch this movie!!!

Loved the movie!!! So fun and adventurous with moments that had you holding your breath for that Little Rock. I would DIE for that liddo guy. Hope yall host more showings at the Bill Cosford Cinema!!
