The singing was not good. The story line was disjointed. There were many scenes that dragged and seemed to be filler scenes. The two alternate endings were not necessary. I was very disappointed in this movie. It certainly was not a romantic comedy. I found it very depressing.

The movie was too long and the first half was slow. As much as I like Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling their voices do not have the wow factor I expect in a musical.
