Cate Blanchett was absolutely stunning! WOW

Incredible tour de force performance by Cate Blanchette and a possible third Oscar star turn for the brilliant actor! In addition the sound/track wows even if U R not a fan of classical music, especially the Mahler Fifth symphony and Elgar cello concerto which are featured here. A tad long at just under three hours and the story parallels almost exactly what happened to conductor James Levine but the reason to screen 'Tar' is to see Ms Blanchette ply her trade.... amazing!!!!

It was really intense and atmospheric, and didn't end the way I thought it would, which is a nice surprise.

One of my favorite films this year — incredible work.
