It's a good musical, very good performances, and entertaining.

Even with its flaws Peter Dinklage shines in a movie that for all intents and purposes shouldn't work.

Wonderful songs and singers. Great leads, great beginning. Gorgeous costumes and sets. It became slow midway, and never grabbed my attention after the balcony scene. Perhaps it was just too sad after, and that sadness dragged on

Peter Dinklage is a very convincing and sympathetic Cyrano. The costume Oscar nomination (ceremony has not happened as of this review) is well deserved. The music is beautiful, the story and sets are also beautiful. If you like musicals, this is well worth your time.
