Went into this with low expectations. The super hero genre has been somewhat beaten to death. We were pleasantly surprised. The movie was really well done. Solid plot line. Milly Alcock knocked it out of the park. She put together a believable complex character with great sarcastic wit. Eve Ridley was also amazing in her role and the two clicked. And how can u not love a story like that also centers around the cutest super pup ever. We felt it was the best super hero movie since the beginning of the genre over a decade ago.

Overall I loved it. I am tired of the "superhero losing their superpowers" trope but this movie handled it better than most. I really enjoyed the smaller threat too, most superhero movies resort to the "end of the world/galaxy level threat" so it is nice to watch a movie with just a basic threat that challenges the hero, but doesn't try to be too intense. (big rift threatening the world? Of course Superman will stop it. Space Slavers with lots of prisoners? There is a chance the hero will fail and face a personal crisis from it(like Gwen from Spiderman). I hope to see a sequel for this movie!

It was good, I liked the punk rock feel of it.
