I appreciated that this movie did not leave me with a heavy feeling. I left understanding the story of Harriet Tubman clearly. I also appreciated that this is the "only" film that didn't leave people not understanding that Mrs. Tubman was a prophet with a clear vision and had a relationship with God. All other films that I have watched previously all left you feeling she was a person who experienced seizures of some type. The director did an exceptional job in the portraying of her story. My wife did not wish to see the movie, I convinced her to go on this date night trip. She was thrilled.

The movie overall was great! I enjoyed watching Harriet Tubman’s story play out on the big screen. It had my attention from the beginning to the end, and Cynthia did a fantastic job as Harriet! She really brought that character to life.

This movie was brilliant! I was sincerely moved with emotions. The audience clapped and cheered throughout the film.

Enjoyed the story, acting, music and cinematography! What could have been a very graphic movie, it portrayed the violence in a way that made you understand but did not repel just for shock value. Great cast / talent. Well done!
