Different. Not what I expected.Different from previous versions in that story was not told in chronological order as is the book. If one did not know the story, movie plot may be difficult to follow.

Enjoyable! I love the book and support Alcott’s Orchard House, so looked forward to movie. The ending was great! Not happy about such things as Meg looking much younger than Jo, Jo being a blonde, Laurie looking too young, Beth not looking sickly, Prof Behr’s youth, Jo’s more outspoken feminism. Don’t remember the beach scene in the book or Laurie’s drunk in Europe. This movie made me think Laurie fell in love with Amy, but the book never made me think so.
