Good, but could have been great. Just a little too much eye roll comedy.

I find it challenging to watch something that pretends to be truth, or "mostly" - at least it made me look up the real story. Munshi was not really as in the movie, although Victoria mostly it seems was. Some clearly manipulating those around should not be presented as he was.

The first half was fun and entertaining, but the second half was just dull and tedious palace fights. I'd love to see more in-depth interactions between the queen and abdul, and the clash of the two cultures. But overall it is cool to see a movie about a hidden part of a (mostly true) history.
