Vin Diesel has played Fast and Furious too many times for him to be any other character. This was just Dom in another movie that was not believable since he's too old to pass for these stunts.

The storyline was quite common for an action film but had its moments that stuck out. At the same time I was impressed with all the cameos and models in the movie. This alone with far fetch (almost cartoon like stunts) never really captured my full attention throughout the movie. It's time to either retire the XXX brand along with a new main character.

Very disappointing. Action scenes were lack luster. Vin Diesel is way too old to be playing a skateboarding X-gamer. Fight scenes were "meh". However, Donnie Yen's action scenes were pretty good. He was the real "star" of the movie.

A fast-moving action movie tailored to Vin Diesel’s Neanderthal personality, Return of Xander Cage has some thrilling stunts that carry the word “extreme” to new extremes. But the stunts are so unlikely that the kind of humorous irony seen in the Die Hard movies, for example, would be appreciated. But that would be too much to expect from Vin Diesel, and his fans don’t expect it in any case.
